TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week position in Norfolk, Nebraska. The role involves evaluating patients and developing treatment plans to help them improve daily living skills in an acute care setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Review patients' medical histories and conduct evaluations
  • Develop treatment plans with specific goals and activities
  • Assist patients with disabilities in performing tasks
  • Evaluate patients' homes or workplaces for necessary improvements
  • Educate families and employers on patient care
  • Recommend and instruct patients on special equipment usage
  • Document patient activities and progress accurately

Required skills

  • BLS certification
  • NBCOT certification
  • 1 year of experience (or 6 months for exceptional candidates)
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
  • Understanding of medical terminology
