Overview

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures for a 13-week assignment in Newberry, Florida. The role involves providing surgical patient care in an acute care surgery setting and requires an active RN license and relevant experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide surgical patient care before, during, and after surgery
  • Serve as patient educator, circulating nurse, and/or scrub nurse
  • Assess, plan, and implement nursing care in the operating room
  • Prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field

Required skills

  • Active RN License
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
