Overview

Inter Technologies Corporation (ITC) is seeking a Travel Audio Visual Installation Technician to join their operations team. This role involves the installation of audio-visual systems across various job sites in the United States, requiring significant travel and accountability for quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Install electronic and hardware components of audio-visual systems
  • Receive, inventory, assemble, and install AV equipment at job sites
  • Troubleshoot audio and video cabling
  • Install and terminate cables using appropriate connectors
  • Drill in drywall, concrete, and cinderblock for installations
  • Provide direction and mentoring to other installers and technicians
  • Clean up job sites and organize stored materials
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Prior AV experience
  • CTS certification or ability to achieve it within six months
  • Strong communication skills
  • Computer proficiency with Google, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Experience with hand tools and small power tools
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Problem-solving and time management skills
