Overview

Transdev is seeking a Transit Bus Driver in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role involves ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for passengers while providing excellent customer service and adhering to safety protocols and regulations. The position includes paid training to obtain a CDL and offers various employee benefits.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute operations by following designated routes and schedules while adhering to safety protocols
  • Provide exceptional care and assistance to passengers during boarding and disembarkation
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness
  • Uphold company policies and procedures including emergency response preparedness

Required skills

  • CDL Class A or B with passenger and airbrake endorsements
  • Minimum 3 years of driving experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including day, evening, and weekends
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and route navigation
