Overview

Transdev is seeking an experienced Transit Bus Driver for their team near Roseville, MN. The role involves ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for passengers while upholding professionalism and customer service standards. The company offers paid training to obtain a CDL and a supportive work environment within a global mobility leader.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute operations by following designated routes and adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations
  • Provide exceptional care and assistance to passengers during boarding, rides, and disembarkation
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Report maintenance issues and ensure cleanliness and readiness of safety equipment
  • Uphold company policies and regulations regarding safety and emergency response

Required skills

  • Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and airbrakes endorsement
  • Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and overnights
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and DOT regulations
