Overview

Transdev is seeking an experienced Transit Bus Driver in Burnsville, MN, to join their team. The successful candidate will ensure safe and comfortable transportation for passengers while providing excellent customer service and adhering to safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute operations by following designated routes and schedules
  • Ensure passenger care and assistance for smooth boarding and disembarkation
  • Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Report any maintenance issues and maintain vehicle cleanliness
  • Uphold company policies and procedures, including emergency response preparedness

Required skills

  • CDL (Commercial Driver's License) required
  • Minimum 3 years of driving experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Able to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and overnight
  • Knowledge of safety management and route navigation
