Overview

The Training Supervisor at KanPak LLC is responsible for developing and executing technical training and employee development programs in alignment with the company's strategic goals. This role emphasizes fostering a culture of operational excellence and ensuring employees have the necessary skills to meet performance standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive technical training strategy aligned with plant goals.
  • Manage training systems and digital tools, including Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Lead the development and deployment of technical curriculum and skills matrices.
  • Utilize instructional design to create engaging training materials.
  • Oversee onboarding and qualification assessment processes for new hires.
  • Define and monitor training effectiveness metrics and KPIs.
  • Lead a team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and promote a collaborative learning culture.
  • Ensure compliance with training and certification standards.
  • Manage training budgets and vendor relationships.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Engineering, Organizational Development or related field
  • 5+ years managing training programs in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Knowledge of project management principles
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and standard digital workplace tools
  • Familiarity with LMS systems such as Alchemy, Docebo
  • Understanding of adult learning theory and competency frameworks
  • Experience with Lean, TPM, and IWS methodologies
  • Strong communication, coaching, and collaboration skills
