Job Description

Overview

The Training Courseware Developer at L3Harris Technologies is responsible for creating, maintaining, and delivering technical training courseware and related materials. This role involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to establish course content and objectives, ensuring that all training materials reflect the product design and meet corporate IT security policies.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop technical training course material with input from instructors and Subject Matter Experts (SME)
  • Create and maintain eLearning content for new product updates and certification support
  • Edit and format videos in multiple formats for training courseware
  • Develop training material templates for efficient content creation
  • Regularly interface with various internal departments and occasionally with vendors and customers
  • Recommend technological solutions for delivering training materials

Required skills

  • Proficiency in graphic design systems such as Articulate 360, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Knowledge of eLearning development systems like Adobe Creative Suite
  • Understanding of HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, XML web development systems
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems
  • Proficiency in video and audio editing software
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of adult training principles and instructional methods
  • Technical background in electro-optical/infrared, mechanical, or electronics
  • Proficient in MS Office products
