Overview

The Trailer Technician at TEN (Transportation Equipment Network) is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair services on trailers. This full-time position offers day and afternoon shifts and is part of a leading North American company with a significant presence in transportation equipment solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair trailer systems including electrical and hydraulic systems, brakes, and suspension
  • Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and repair faults
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and test repaired systems
  • Update repair information in maintenance software and ensure accurate parts charge-outs
  • Read and interpret manuals, maintain required certifications, and stay updated on new technology

Required skills

  • Heavy Duty Equipment Apprentice or Licensed Trailer Mechanic
  • Experience as a Trailer Service Technician or similar role
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in trailer repair is preferred
  • Knowledge of trailer systems including electrical, suspension, and braking systems
  • Ability to safely lift up to 85 pounds
