Overview

The Traffic Control Supervisor II at RoadSafe Traffic Systems is responsible for the design, setup, and maintenance of temporary traffic control in work zones. This role involves supervising teams, monitoring road repairs, and ensuring safety while using various traffic control devices.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites
  • Drive MOT and TMA vehicles to and from projects to protect workers and work zones
  • Set up and monitor temporary traffic control devices in work areas
  • Collect and load traffic control items at the beginning and end of shifts
  • Perform general maintenance and repair of equipment
  • Follow safety rules and regulations to ensure a safe work environment
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid Driver's License
  • 2+ years of experience with 4,000 field hours in traffic control
  • Completion of ATSSA TCS intermediate training course
  • Ability to comply with federal and state motor carrier safety regulations
  • Basic reading and writing skills for paperwork and road signs
  • Experience operating delivery vehicles of varying sizes
  • Ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds
  • Willingness to travel and work nights and weekends as required
  • Ability to read and implement traffic control plans
