Overview

The Traffic Control Supervisor at RoadSafe Traffic Systems is responsible for designing and maintaining temporary traffic control in work zones. This role includes overseeing the setup of traffic control devices, monitoring road repairs, and supervising teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, set up, and maintain temporary traffic control in work zones
  • Operate company trucks and MOT vehicles to transport materials and equipment
  • Install and maintain traffic control devices such as signs and cones
  • Monitor work zones to ensure proper placement of traffic control items
  • Perform general maintenance and repair of equipment
  • Adhere to safety rules and company policies
  • Complete work-related duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid Driver's License
  • 2+ years of experience in traffic control with 4,000 field hours
  • Completion of ATSSA TCS intermediate training course
  • Ability to pass background check and drug test
  • Knowledge of federal and state motor carrier safety regulations
  • Basic reading and writing skills
  • Good knowledge of state and local roadways
  • Ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds
  • Willingness to travel and work a rotating on-call schedule
