Job Description

Overview

The Traffic Control Flagger II is responsible for managing the flow of traffic around construction sites and other work zones at RoadSafe Traffic Systems. This role requires effective communication, the ability to work outdoors in various conditions, and attention to detail, ensuring safety for both workers and the public.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up and take down traffic control devices such as signs, cones, and barricades
  • Manage traffic flow using stop/slow paddles
  • Communicate effectively with team members using two-way radios
  • Stand and walk for extended periods, up to 10 hours a day
  • Lift and move items over 50 pounds
  • Drive company vehicles for transporting traffic control equipment
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
  • Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned
