Overview

Genesis10 is seeking a Trade Floor Support - Onsite professional for a Major Financial Institution in New York, NY. This 11-month contract role involves providing real-time technical assistance and issue resolution for front-office personnel on a trading floor, with a focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring operational compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide real-time technical support for traders and front-office staff
  • Resolve issues related to trading platforms, market data feeds, hardware, and network connectivity
  • Monitor the health and performance of trading systems and escalate incidents as needed
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and networking teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems
  • Document recurring issues and contribute to the creation of support guides and knowledge bases
  • Ensure minimal downtime and maintain compliance with operational and regulatory standards

Required skills

  • 10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience supporting trading platforms and financial systems in high-pressure environments
  • Knowledge of market data applications such as Bloomberg, Reuters, or ICE
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Scripting and basic networking knowledge
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
