Overview

AAA Club Alliance is seeking Tow Truck Drivers (Non-CDL) to join their Upper Marlboro Roadside Assistance Team. This role involves providing mobile battery services, performing diagnostic tests, and assisting members with vehicle issues while working in a team-oriented environment focused on delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide mobile battery services following established guidelines
  • Perform diagnostic tests and recommend battery solutions
  • Communicate effectively with members to ensure safety and satisfaction
  • Enter call information accurately into in-truck technology
  • Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections
  • Ensure the safety and security of fleet vehicles and equipment
  • May provide additional services like lock-out, fuel delivery, jump starts, and tire changes
  • Follow all safety procedures and quality control measures

Required skills

  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Experience in an automotive or mechanical environment preferred
  • Customer service and sales experience preferred
  • Ability to perform diagnostic tests and recommend solutions
  • Basic knowledge of email and GPS technology
  • Ability to use hand tools and lift equipment up to 75 pounds
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
