Overview

AAA Club Alliance is looking for dependable and empathetic Tow Truck Drivers (Non-CDL) in Chester, Virginia. The role involves providing roadside assistance, including vehicle towing, to help customers in various weather conditions. This position offers paid training, competitive compensation, and opportunities for overtime and bonuses.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide lock-out, fuel delivery, battery jump starts, and tire change services
  • Provide tow and recovery services
  • Sell and install car batteries where applicable
  • Communicate effectively with members to ensure their safety
  • Enter call information accurately into technology and process payments
  • Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections
  • Ensure the fleet vehicle and equipment are secured
  • Participate in special events promoting the brand
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • At least 21 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with state and local licensing
  • Ability to pass a physical examination
  • 3 years of experience in an automotive/mechanical or customer service role preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 75 pounds
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to operate passenger vehicles and light-medium duty trucks
