Overview

AAA Club Alliance is seeking dependable and empathetic Tow Truck Drivers for their Chester, Virginia fleet. In this role, you will assist members by providing roadside assistance services such as tire changes, battery jump starts, and towing vehicles, while working in various weather conditions. The company offers a comprehensive compensation package including competitive pay, paid training, and generous PTO.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide lock-out, fuel delivery, battery jump starts, and tire change services
  • Conduct tow and recovery services using established guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with members to ensure their safety and keep them informed
  • Accurately enter call information into in-truck technology and process payments
  • Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure safe operating conditions
  • Participate in special events promoting the AAA brand
  • Other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain licensing requirements
  • Completion of high school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience in automotive/mechanical environment or sales/customer service
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
  • Effective communication skills in writing and verbally
  • Familiarity with GPS technology
  • Completion of required training courses within 60 days of hire
