Overview

AAA Club Alliance is seeking Tow Truck Drivers NonCDL to join their Upper Marlboro Roadside Assistance Team. The drivers will provide mobile battery services while ensuring member safety and satisfaction. This role offers an opportunity for career growth in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide mobile battery services following established guidelines
  • Perform diagnostic tests and recommend battery solutions and installations
  • Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure safe operating conditions
  • Communicate effectively with members regarding services
  • Enter call information accurately into in-truck technology
  • Process payments and complete required reports
  • Provide additional road assistance services such as lock-out and fuel delivery
  • Maintain fleet vehicle and equipment security

Required skills

  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Experience in an automotive/mechanical environment or customer service
  • Knowledge of diagnostic tests and battery sales
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 75 pounds
  • Effective communication skills in writing and verbally
  • Basic skills using hand tools, email, and GPS
  • Ability to operate passenger vehicles and light-medium duty trucks
