Overview

AAA Club Alliance is seeking Tow Truck Drivers for their Upper Marlboro Roadside Assistance Team. This role offers the opportunity to work outside, help others, and grow professionally while providing essential vehicle assistance services, including battery sales and installations.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide mobile battery services using established guidelines and quality control procedures.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and recommend solutions including sales of batteries and installations.
  • Communicate effectively with members to ensure safety and keep them informed.
  • Enter call information accurately into in-truck technology and complete necessary reports.
  • Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure safe operating conditions.
  • Provide additional services such as lock-out assistance, fuel delivery, and tire changes as needed.

Required skills

  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • 3 years of experience in an automotive/mechanical environment or a customer service role
  • Ability to use hand tools and operate service vehicles
  • Knowledge of diagnostic tests and battery sales techniques
  • Basic skills using email and GPS
  • Strong communication skills
