Overview

AAA Club Alliance is seeking Full Time Roadside Assistance Tow Truck Drivers to join their team in Columbus, OH. The role involves helping members with services such as towing, tire changes, and battery jumpstarts in various weather conditions. Candidates should possess a genuine desire to assist others and be prepared to work outside.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide tow and recovery services based on established guidelines
  • Perform lock-out, fuel delivery, battery jump starts, and tire change services
  • Communicate effectively with members regarding service status and safety
  • Enter call information accurately into in-truck technology and process payments
  • Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure safe operating conditions
  • Secure fleet vehicle and equipment adequately at all times
  • Participate in special events promoting the AAA brand as needed

Required skills

  • Valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience in an automotive/mechanical environment or customer service
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
  • Proficiency in using hand tools for vehicle service
  • Effective communication skills in writing and verbally
  • Experience with GPS technology
