Job Description

Overview

AMZ Title LLC is looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Title Closer to manage residential and commercial real estate closings. The role involves ensuring that all closing documents are accurate and that transactions are completed smoothly while providing exceptional service to clients and other parties involved in the transaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage real estate closing transactions from opening to funding
  • Review title commitments, payoffs, surveys, HOA estoppels, and lender instructions
  • Prepare Closing Disclosures (CDs), settlement statements, and closing packages
  • Communicate with buyers, sellers, lenders, realtors, attorneys, and mortgage brokers
  • Schedule closings and ensure timely documentation for all parties
  • Verify accuracy of figures, prorations, commissions, taxes, and recording fees
  • Obtain signatures and notarize documents when necessary
  • Balance files and ensure funding conditions are met before disbursement
  • Handle wire transfers and disbursement of funds in compliance with regulations
  • Maintain compliance with state regulations and company procedures
  • Assist with post-closing tasks and file organization

Required skills

  • Previous experience as a Title Closer, Escrow Officer, or Real Estate Closing Processor
  • Knowledge of Florida real estate closing procedures and title insurance practices
  • Strong understanding of Closing Disclosures (CDs) and settlement statements
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with title software systems preferred
  • Notary Public license preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
