Overview

BJC HealthCare is seeking an experienced full-time Physical Therapist to join St. Louis Children's Hospital in an outpatient setting, with responsibilities across various satellite locations in the St. Louis area. The role focuses on orthopedic caseloads, catering to children with a desire for those with an Athletic Training Certification background.

Key responsibilities

  • Establish treatment plans and provide physical therapy services to patients
  • Educate and collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare providers
  • Delegate responsibilities to assistants, techs, and students as needed
  • Complete necessary documentation in accordance with departmental policies
  • Provide assessments and consultations for Physical Therapy Services

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Physical Therapist License
  • Experience in patient assessment and treatment planning
  • Collaboration with healthcare providers
  • Knowledge of orthopedic therapy and pediatric care
