Overview

VieMed Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join their outpatient healthcare team in Alpena, MI. This full-time, permanent role emphasizes a patient-centered approach and offers opportunities for professional growth and participation in community health initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical functions using formal and informal testing methods.

  • Educate patients and their families on treatment options and home care strategies.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members for cohesive patient care.

  • Recommend and facilitate the acquisition of adaptive equipment for patient safety.
  • Document all patient interactions accurately and ensure compliance with policies.

Required skills

  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
