Overview

BJC HealthCare is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join Parkland Therapy Services in Farmington, MO, focusing on a neuro and ortho adult population, along with occasional pediatric cases. The role involves working in a smaller community with beautiful surroundings, offering flexible shift options, and includes an inpatient weekend rotation and holiday rotation.

Key responsibilities

  • Establish treatment plans and provide treatment considering discharge needs and functional status.
  • Educate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers, making referrals to specialists as needed.
  • Delegate tasks to assistants, techs, and students based on their skill level.
  • Complete documentation in accordance with departmental policies.
  • Provide assessments, reassessments, and consultations for Physical Therapy Services.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Physical Therapist License
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in evaluation and treatment planning
