Overview

VieMed Healthcare Staffing is looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist to join their healthcare team in Liberal, Kansas. This role involves evaluating and implementing treatment plans for diverse patients in various settings, ensuring high-quality care while promoting professional growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to facilitate recovery.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Document clinical findings and progress notes accurately in the electronic health record system.
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and ongoing care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and professional standards.

Required skills

  • Valid Kansas Physical Therapist license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
  • Proven clinical experience preferred but not mandatory
