Overview

VieMed Healthcare Staffing is looking for a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join their healthcare team in Liberal, Kansas. This role will involve evaluating and implementing treatment plans to enhance patient mobility and restore functional ability across various settings.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to facilitate recovery
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Document clinical findings and progress notes accurately in the electronic health record system
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and ongoing care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and professional standards

Required skills

  • Valid Kansas Physical Therapist license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
  • Proven clinical experience preferred
  • Electronic health records proficiency
