Overview

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapist for a home health opportunity in New Albany, Indiana. In this role, you will deliver skilled therapy services to patients in their homes, primarily focusing on adult and geriatric patients recovering from various conditions. The position emphasizes quality patient care in a community-oriented environment while fostering professional development.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one, skilled therapy services to home health patients
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Perform gait and balance training, strength and endurance programs, and transfer training
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and fall prevention
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care
  • Manage a field-based caseload typically over a Monday to Friday schedule

Required skills

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (Compact Accepted)
  • 1 year of home health experience
  • Experience with Homecare Homebase documentation (preferred)
