Overview

AMN Healthcare is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) to work in a school district in Algonquin, Illinois. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy services to students of all ages, focusing on improving their physical functions and movement.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with the school district as part of a collaborative team
  • Screen and evaluate students referred for Physical Therapy
  • Diagnose movement dysfunction and create personalized treatment plans
  • Provide evidence-based direct and consultative therapy services
  • Maintain accurate documentation and billing according to standards
  • Communicate clearly with teachers, district staff, and families

Required skills

  • Active Physical Therapy license in Illinois
  • Graduate from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy program
  • Pass the National Physical Therapy Examination
  • Clear and articulate communication skills
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Professional pediatric experience preferred
