Overview

AMN Healthcare is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) to work within a school district in Odessa, Delaware. The role includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and offering evidence-based therapy services to help children improve their physical functions and reduce pain. The position emphasizes collaboration with teachers and district staff, providing comprehensive services to students of varying ages.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with the school district to assist students in restoring and maintaining their physical functions.
  • Screen and evaluate students referred for Physical Therapy treatment.
  • Diagnose movement dysfunction and create personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based direct and consultative therapy services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and billing as per district and state standards.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to communicate student treatment plans.

Required skills

  • Active Physical Therapy (PT) license in DE
  • Graduate from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program
  • Pass the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
