Overview

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist to provide one-on-one care to patients in Batesville, Arkansas. This role involves delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to adults and seniors, with a focus on helping them maintain their independence in their homes while working as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations in patients' homes
  • Develop and update individualized plans of care
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercise and mobility training
  • Conduct detailed assessments of strength, balance, and mobility
  • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home safety
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for coordinated care
  • Document patient progress using electronic medical records

Required skills

  • Physical Therapist license
  • 1 year of home health experience
  • Experience with elderly and post-acute care
  • Familiarity with Homecare Homebase documentation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
