Overview

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist to join their team in Batesville, Arkansas. This role involves providing one-on-one rehabilitation care to adults and seniors in their homes, focusing on improving their independence and quality of life while working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations in patients' homes
  • Develop and update individualized plans of care
  • Provide therapeutic interventions and patient education
  • Perform detailed assessments of strength, balance, mobility, and home safety
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to coordinate care
  • Document patient information using an electronic medical record system

Required skills

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Experience in home health care
  • Knowledge of geriatric care and rehabilitation
  • Ability to perform assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Familiarity with Homecare Homebase documentation (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills
