Overview

Adelphi Staffing is seeking Occupational Therapists to provide services in a school setting in Aberdeen, Washington. The role involves working closely with students to enhance their fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-regulation in accordance with established standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage in interventions that build fine motor skills
  • Strengthen sensory processing and promote self-regulation
  • Support students with daily living skills such as handwriting and self-care
  • Create supportive environments with adaptations to help students thrive
  • Consult with teachers and staff to integrate effective classroom strategies
  • Deliver therapy materials and recommend adaptive devices
  • Train staff to reinforce student progress
  • Perform any other assigned duties

Required skills

  • Active Washington License
  • Experience in pediatric therapy
  • Knowledge of sensory processing and self-regulation techniques
  • Skills in classroom integration and consultation
  • Ability to develop fine motor skills
  • Experience with adaptive devices
