Job Description

Overview

The Medicus Firm is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist in Austin, Texas, to join a mission-driven and team-oriented pediatric therapy program. This full-time position offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment focused on providing care to children with developmental delays and autism spectrum disorder, all while maintaining a strong work-life balance.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a structured caseload of 79 patients per day
  • Supervise OT assistants and assist in program development
  • Collaborate with a team of PTs, SLPs, and therapy assistants
  • Maintain built-in administrative time within a flexible schedule

Required skills

  • Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Active OT license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • NBCOT certification
  • BLS certification (AHA)
  • 2+ years pediatric experience preferred
  • Knowledge of developmental delays and autism spectrum disorder
  • Patient management and supervision skills
  • Team collaboration
