Overview

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Therapist for home health assignments in Manhattan, NY. This role requires working with the geriatric population, developing treatment plans, and visiting patients in their homes to help them regain function and independence.

Key responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate patient needs
  • Develop treatment plans
  • Provide techniques to regain function and independence
  • Introduce adaptive equipment
  • Teach strategies for safer self-care
  • Recommend environmental changes for a safe home setting
  • Make 5-6 patient visits per day using public transit

Required skills

  • Experience with the geriatric population
  • Current NY Occupational Therapy license
