Overview

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an acute care setting in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The role requires independence in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a caseload of 6-8 patients per day. The facility is a accredited community hospital dedicated to quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessments
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Utilize rehabilitation techniques for patient recovery
  • Ensure patient independent functioning
  • Maintain electronic medical records

Required skills

  • 1+ years of experience in occupational therapy
  • New Mexico OT license
  • BS or higher in Occupational Therapy
  • BLS-AHA certification
  • Familiarity with EMR systems (ReDoc for outpatient and MedHost for inpatient)
