Job Description

Overview

BJC HealthCare is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for pediatrics at St. Louis Children's Hospital. This role focuses on providing skilled occupational therapy services to developmental patients, with a preference for experience in feeding therapy and infant care. The OT will collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.

Key responsibilities

  • Establish treatment plans considering discharge needs and functional status.
  • Educate and collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
  • Delegate tasks to assistants, techs, and students.
  • Complete documentation in accordance with departmental policies.
  • Provide assessments and consultations for Occupational Therapy Services.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in pediatric therapy, patient evaluation, and treatment planning
  • Skills in rehabilitation, feeding therapy, and clinical documentation
