Job Description

Overview

St. Louis Children's Hospital is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist specializing in pediatrics. This role is based at the Children's Specialty Care Center in Town & County, where the OT will provide care for developmental patients, with a preference for those experienced in feeding and care of infants.

Key responsibilities

  • Establish and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and discharge considerations.
  • Educate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Delegate tasks to assistants, techs, and students, ensuring appropriateness of interventions.
  • Complete documentation as per departmental policies.
  • Provide assessments, reassessments, and consultations for Occupational Therapy Services.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in pediatric care preferred
  • Skills in therapeutic communication and interdisciplinary collaboration
