Job Description

Overview

The Occupational Therapist (OT) position at AMN Healthcare involves providing skilled therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in their homes throughout Jefferson City, Missouri. This 13-week assignment allows OTs to develop individualized treatment plans while working closely with various healthcare professionals in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide Occupational Therapy services to patients in their homes
  • Complete comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct ADL and IADL training, home safety and fall risk assessments
  • Educate caregivers and recommend adaptive equipment
  • Document care using an electronic medical record system
  • Coordinate services with the broader care team

Required skills

  • Occupational Therapy degree and licensure
  • 1 year of Home Health experience
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
