Overview

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a school district in Bonifay, Florida. The role involves working with children of all ages to enhance their motor skills, sensory processing, and cognitive functions, ultimately supporting their academic and social participation.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with school district teams to help students achieve academic goals
  • Screen and evaluate students referred for Occupational Therapy services
  • Collect data and report findings accurately
  • Provide evidence-based direct and consultative therapy services
  • Maintain documentation and billing as per district and state standards
  • Offer training and resources to teachers and staff on effective strategies for student participation
  • Communicate clearly with teachers, district staff, and families about student performance

Required skills

  • Completion of an associates degree or higher education
