Overview

AMN Healthcare is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to work in a school setting in Odessa, Delaware. The therapist will support children of all ages in developing motor skills, sensory processing, and cognitive functions that impact their academic and social participation.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a team to help students achieve academic goals
  • Screen and evaluate students referred for Occupational Therapy
  • Collect data and report findings appropriately
  • Provide evidence-based therapy services as required
  • Maintain accurate documentation and billing per standards
  • Train and resource teachers and staff on effective strategies
  • Communicate performance updates with teachers, district staff, and families

Required skills

  • Occupational Therapist license in Delaware
  • Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Clear communication skills
  • Ability to explain results to a varied audience
  • Experience in a school environment is a plus
  • Initial certification through NBCOT preferred
