AMN Healthcare is seeking a qualified Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a collaborative team in Oakland, California. The role involves providing therapy services to children, focusing on motor skills, sensory processing, and cognitive functions to support their academic and daily living skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with the clinic to help students achieve academic goals
  • Screen and evaluate referred students for Occupational Therapy
  • Collect data and report findings appropriately
  • Provide evidence-based direct and consultative therapy services
  • Maintain clear communication with teachers, district staff, and families

Required skills

  • Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California
  • Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Initial certification through NBCOT (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to explain results to varied audiences
  • Previous school experience (preferred)
