Overview

Collins Aerospace is seeking a motivated, entry-level Textile Machine Operator I for its Carbon Operations in Spokane, WA. The operator will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC textile loom equipment in the production of carbon brakes for aircraft. The role includes training to advance through a skill-based progression roadmap in a team-oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up and operate large-scale CNC textile loom equipment
  • Assist in equipment operation for product processing
  • Perform equipment preventative maintenance
  • Conduct visual and mechanical inspections
  • Meet target productivity levels established for the department
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Adhere to all engineering instructions and departmental procedures
  • Assist with data entry requirements and process documentation
  • Comply with environmental, health, and safety procedures
