Overview

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Test and Integration Technician B for their Waterdown, Ontario location. The role involves analyzing mechanical and electrical schematics, executing integration and testing procedures on electro-optical systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret complex mechanical and electrical schematics.
  • Execute integration processes by configuring software and calibrating hardware.
  • Conduct comprehensive functional tests on electro-optical imaging systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components.
  • Investigate and resolve system-level faults in collaboration with senior technicians and engineers.
  • Execute environmental screening and analyze performance data.
  • Manage multiple priorities to meet project timelines and production goals.
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration to solve technical challenges.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of maintenance and test results.
  • Perform diagnostic testing, repairs, and upgrades on customer-owned equipment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives regarding testing and integration processes.

Required skills

  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience in assembling, configuring, and testing complex electromechanical systems.
  • Skilled in diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Ability to load, configure, and verify software on integrated hardware systems.
