Overview

Metalcraft of Mayville is looking for a Territory Sales Manager for Tennessee, based in Brandon, Mississippi. The role involves developing relationships with outdoor power equipment rental locations to achieve sales goals and expand the rental network. The ideal candidate will be proactive and capable of managing dealer relationships effectively.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop a plan to meet annual sales and marketing goals.
  • Communicate the uniqueness and value of the product lines to rental dealers.
  • Conduct on-site calls to customers, spending the majority of time in the field.
  • Assist rental dealers in managing and resolving operational problems.
  • Train dealers on product features and benefits.
  • Monitor and suggest actions for inventory management.
  • Perform product demonstrations as needed.

Required skills

  • 2+ years of external sales experience, preferably in outdoor power equipment rental
  • High school degree
  • Strong communication and follow-through skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
  • Physical ability to operate outdoor power equipment
  • Willingness to work non-standard hours and travel extensively
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license
