Overview

Metalcraft of Mayville is looking for a self-starter to fill the role of Territory Sales Manager for Oklahoma. This position involves developing relationships with outdoor power equipment rental locations and working towards sales goals with the company’s product lines, including Scag Power Equipment, Bluebird Turf, and Versatran.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop plans to meet annual sales goals and objectives.
  • Communicate the uniqueness and value of product lines to rental dealers.
  • Conduct on-site calls with customers, dedicating significant time to customer interactions.
  • Assist dealers in managing and resolving sales and operational issues.
  • Train dealers on product features and benefits.
  • Monitor rental location inventory and suggest actions to optimize sales.

Required skills

  • 2+ years of external sales experience, preferably in outdoor power equipment rental, wholesale or retail
  • High school diploma
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Physical ability to operate outdoor power equipment
  • Willingness to travel (70% travel, 30% home office)
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license
