Overview

Emery Jensen Distribution, LLC is seeking a Territory Manager to drive sales and manage customer relationships in the Charlottesville, VA area. This position involves developing strategic sales plans, fostering relationships with key decision makers, and growing the business in the hardlines industry. The ideal candidate has a strong sales background and is motivated to succeed in a competitive market.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve annual sales and profit objectives.
  • Grow profitable sales with current and new customers in the Charlottesville area.
  • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with key decision makers.
  • Organize and prioritize customer sales routes and calls.
  • Communicate effectively with the Emery Jensen Leadership Team and internal support teams.
  • Attend industry trade shows and events as needed.

Required skills

  • 5 years of Business to Business sales experience preferred.
  • Hardware sales experience a plus.
  • Excellent listening and negotiating skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking and sales growth planning abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
