Overview

Metalcraft of Mayville is looking for a Territory Manager for South/SW Virginia and parts of West Virginia to join their field sales team. The ideal candidate will focus on developing relationships with outdoor power equipment rental locations and drive the sales of their Bluebird Turf brand, meeting annual sales and recruitment objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a plan to meet annual sales and marketing goals.
  • Communicate product uniqueness and value to rental dealers.
  • Spend significant time in the field visiting rental locations.
  • Assist dealers in managing and resolving operational issues.
  • Train dealers on features and benefits of products.
  • Monitor and suggest action on rental location inventory.

Required skills

  • 2+ years of external sales experience, preferably in outdoor power equipment rental.
  • High school diploma.
  • Strong communication and follow-through skills.
  • Mid to high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Physical ability to operate outdoor power equipment.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the territory.
