Job Description

Overview

Metalcraft of Mayville is looking for a self-starter to fill the role of Territory Manager in South/SW Virginia and parts of West Virginia. This position focuses on developing relationships with outdoor power equipment rental locations and achieving sales goals while promoting the Bluebird Turf brand.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop a plan to meet annual sales and marketing goals.
  • Communicate the uniqueness and value of product lines to rental dealers.
  • Spend time on site with customers to address their needs and ensure satisfaction.
  • Train dealers on product features and benefits.
  • Monitor and suggest improvements for rental inventory management.
  • Represent rental dealers to the company and vice versa.

Required skills

  • 2+ years of external sales experience, preferably in outdoor power equipment rental, wholesale or retail.
  • High school degree required.
  • Strong communication and follow-through skills.
  • Mid to high proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to use and operate various outdoor power equipment.
  • Willingness to travel (70% on the road, 30% home office).
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
