Overview

As a TEKLA Draftsman at Summa, you will be responsible for modeling complex steel structures and wrought metal projects using TEKLA software. The role involves participation in BIM coordination, conducting site measurements, and collaborating with subcontractors and contractors to design assembly details both in the factory and on-site.

Key responsibilities

  • Model complex steel structures and wrought metal projects using TEKLA software
  • Participate in BIM coordination
  • Conduct site measurements and coordinate with subcontractors and contractors
  • Design assembly details with the assistance of specialized engineers
  • Prepare approval drawings, assembly drawings, and necessary documents for manufacturing

Required skills

  • TEKLA software proficiency
  • Experience in wrought metal or steel structure drawings
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Fluent in spoken and written French
  • Fluent in spoken and written English (asset)
