The Technology Specialist After Hours provides entry-level technical support and monitoring during second and third shifts, helping ensure our systems remain reliable and our staff stay connected while serving communities where access to care matters most. This role supports end users through troubleshooting, system support, and timely responses to service desk requests in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who is beginning their IT career, enjoys solving problems, and wants hands-on experience supporting technology that directly impacts healthcare delivery and patient access-especially during off-hours when dependable support is critical. Key Responsibilities Monitor and respond to service desk tickets, calls, and emails during after-hours shifts Provide entry-level troubleshooting and resolution for hardware, software, and system issues Support end users both on-site and remotely, escalating issues as appropriate Assist with hardware and software installations, imaging, upgrades, and repairs Maintain accurate documentation, inventory, and service desk records Participate in weekend on-call rotation and support service level goals Education, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise High School/GED required Associate/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: At least one (1) year experience preferred You'll be a great fit for this role if you: Enjoy troubleshooting and learning new technologies in a real-world environment Are calm, responsive, and dependable during evening and overnight shifts Communicate clearly and professionally with non-technical users Take pride in supporting teams that deliver essential services to rural communities Are eager to grow your IT skills while contributing to a mission that inspires hope and promotes wellness
