Overview

Supermicro is looking for a Technology Enablement Engineer to join their team in San Jose, California. This role focuses on accelerating the deployment of AI infrastructure by optimizing hardware and software configurations, especially for customers in the Enterprise and Hyperscale sectors.

Key responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end AI infrastructure solutions incorporating high-speed networking and advanced GPU topologies
  • Benchmark and tune AI software stacks to maximize throughput and minimize latency for LLM training and inference
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to influence the roadmap for AI-optimized solutions
  • Educate internal teams and global customers on the deployment of containerized AI workloads and orchestration

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering, or relevant experience; Master's degree is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in hardware or solutions integration
  • Hands-on experience with CUDA and/or ROCm development and optimization
  • Strong understanding of Linux environments, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and distributed computing
  • Ability to distill complex GPU architecture concepts into actionable business strategies
