The role focuses on assisting users with technology-related issues, maintaining and optimizing technological infrastructure, and ensuring security protocols are followed.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist users with problem resolution related to IT technologies
  • Install, configure, and update workstations, printers, and software
  • Manage access and ensure basic security
  • Perform regular data backups and restoration as needed
  • Ensure optimal functioning of technological infrastructure
  • Manage the internet connection
  • Configure company mobile devices
  • Provide remote technical support to users

Required skills

  • Knowledge of operating systems, networks, and security tools
  • Diploma of College Studies (DEC) or Attestation of College Studies (AEC) is an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
