Overview

EBGO, a family-owned company based in Victoriaville, Quebec, is dedicated to designing, developing, and distributing electric bikes across Canada. The electric bike technician plays a vital role in assembling, maintaining, and repairing these bikes to ensure their quality, safety, and performance within a modern and organized workshop.

Key responsibilities

  • Assemble new electric bikes according to EBGO quality standards
  • Perform inspections, adjustments, and tests before delivery
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
  • Recondition returned bikes or those from the open box program
  • Handle warranty repairs and after-sales service
  • Maintain a record of interventions performed
  • Participate in continuous improvement of assembly and repair processes
  • Collaborate with customer service team for technical follow-ups
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Provide technical support during events or promotional activities as needed

Required skills

  • 2 years experience in bike mechanics or related field
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail, rigor, and quality of work
  • Autonomy, reliability, and sense of responsibility
  • Team spirit and positive attitude
  • Knowledge of electric bikes (asset, but training provided)
